When you make or edit a guide, you'll see a tab called 'BROWSER'.

It looks like this...

Browser is our special tab which allows you to interact with the internet and live websites. The other tabs are pages that have already been saved in Nickelled. With the Browser tab you can capture new pages for your guide and update old ones.

When you add a step in the Browser tab we will sense a page change or a change in state and we'll automatically save that page.

Once you select another tab (a previously saved page) we'll stop watching the page for changes. Go back to the Browser tab if you want us to automatically save new pages.

You'll use the Browser tab to:

  • Create a new guide

  • Capture new pages for an existing guide to change/extend it

  • And to replace an out of date page by going to the site and getting the latest version
